My trip in Finland

Début août j'ai eu l'opportunité de partir une semaine en Finlande, plus exactement à Helsinki, pour le mariage de mes amis Martial et Jenni. Le voyage avait pour but premier de se retrouver entre amis, "la famille qu'on a choisit" (même si on aime tous nos familles bien sûr). Découverte des lieux, rencontres, cuites fraternelles et moments précieux.
At the beginning of August I've had the opportunity to go for one week in Finland, more precisely in Helsinki, for the wedding of my friends Martial and Jenni. The primary goal of this trip was of course to share a great week between friends, "the family that we chose" (even though we surely love our families), but also to visit Helsinki, meet people, get drunk with my brothers and live precious moments.

J'avais également (évidemment) l'envie de jeter un oeil aux pêches du coin. J'avais repéré sur Internet un magasin qui avait l'air bien fourni en matos brochet, www.wobbleri.fi , et m'y suis donc rendu.
En entrant, j'ai juste eu peur de devenir complètement fou. Que du leurre à bec, et la moitié c'est du bigbait. Des jerkbaits de partout, différentes formes, tailles, couleurs. Je vous laisse découvrir...
I also (obviously) wanted to through an eye to the local fishing. I spoted a shop on Internet, which seemed to be well supplied with pike fishing stuff, www.wobbleri.fi, and went there.
Entering this shop , I was just feared to drive completely mad... Only (or almost) pike lures, half of it are bigbaits. Jerbaits everywhere, various sizes, shapes, colors. I let you discover it.

Et tant d'autres... de nombreux gros PN à bavette entre 7 et 13'' (!!!), des cannes casting qui lancent ce genre de bêtes... c'était un petit paradis à specimen hunter.
Une mention spéciale à leurs superbes ondulantes peintes à la main, que j'ai perdue comme un gros naze sur un fond apparement propre. Je repasse commande très bientôt!
De plus et même surtout, l'accueil a été génial (j'y suis retourné 3 fois). Merci à eux, j'espère revenir l'année prochaine, avec cette fois le fagot de cannes!
And so many others... a lot of big wobblers ranging between 7 and 13'' (!!!), casting rods able to handle this kind of beasts... the paradise for specimen hunters.
A special word for their wonderful hand made spoons, that I lost like a jerk in an apparently clean area. I'll order one very soon!
Moreover I've had great discussions with the guys (I've been there three times). Many thanks to them, I really hope to come back next year but this time with rods and reels!

J'ai déjà pu tester mes petits achats, et ça marche ! Bon ok celui-ci est vraiment petit mais j'ai eu le droit à une belle attaque juste avant, raté bien entendu. Ce qui est sûr, c'est que c'est pas la dernière fois que je les utilise...
I've already tried the lures I bought there and they work! Ok this one is tiny but I had a nice hit just two casts before. Of course misted. But this is surely not the last time I use those baits...
